BCITO - Building and Construction ITO

Qualifications

There are apprenticeships in almost every different area of the building and construction industry. Which apprenticeship is right for you will depend on your interests, your experience and the opportunities in your area.

Apprenticeships are "competency based". It's all about demonstrating you have the ability (both in terms of knowledge and skill) to complete a task - you are seen to be competent and can work towards becoming qualified. It means that apprenticeships take no more or no less time than it takes for you to show that you can demonstrate your skill.

If an apprenticeship in the building and construction industry sounds like the right choice for you check out the different qualifications in this section of our site for more information or contact BCITO on 0800 4 BCITO (0800 422 486).
