Proprietary Plaster Cladding Systems

Proprietary plaster cladding systems are used on the exterior of buildings. A qualification in this area can lead to a varied and interesting career path in the external plastering sector.

National Certificate in Proprietary Plaster Cladding Systems (Level 4)
What will I learn?
As well as basic skills in building and construction, you’ll learn how to apply exterior cladding to manufacturers' specifications. You’ll be able to choose one of three proprietary cladding systems to focus on, plus you’ll cover key areas of external plastering, including: levelling coats, fixing moulding and finishing coats.

How long will it take?
To become fully qualified should take one to two years, depending on your skills and experience.
