Carpentry

The building and construction industry is one of the most exciting industries to work in. From building houses to hospitals to high-rise buildings, it's about building things from the ground up.

Don't just learn skills that build doors - learn skills that open them.

There are three main pathways to achieving a Carpentry qualification, designed to offer a range of options to help meet individual learning needs and styles.

 

Self paced learning On the job training for both theory and practical components at a pace that works for you.
Off Job Training
Combining classroom and on-site learning through a programme of off job training, which offers additional support to the self-paced learning option.

You choose the option that best suits you and your lifestyle. The certificate usually takes up to four years to complete and is made up of 81 unit standards - 40 theory units and 41 practical units. There are also 3 compulsory first aid units.
