National Certificate in Elementary Construction Skills
The National Certificate in Elementary Construction Skills (ECS) has been replacedby the BConstructive programme.
The unit standards that were previously tagged as ECS will cease to exist in their current format. As with any reviewed unit standards (as is the case for a number of ECS ones) there will be a transition period which will allow people already working towards those units or the existing ECS National Certificate to complete it. Existing students will not be penalised and the work that they have done to date will of course be recognised.
