BConstructive
BConstructive is an initiative run by six construction related ITOs which is specifically designed to allow secondary school students to experience career options available in the construction industry.
While this innovative programme is mainly workshop based, there is also a focus on a broader band of skills required by the construction industry as a whole. In addition, the programme provides a practical context for developing an appreciation of the importance and relevance of numeracy, literacy and communication knowledge.
Doing a BConstructive course can also lead to achieving a qualification. There are two National Certificates in Building and Allied Trades Skills available, one at level 1 and another at level 2.
