The team at Karamea Area School constructed a small shed behind the school house to store play equipment. It was requested that one side of the shed be enclosed and lockable, and the other open fronted. Precipitation can sometimes be heavy and persistent in this region and the ground often turns to mud after a downpour. Because of this the shed needed to be built on a pile and bearer foundation.
