Otamatea High School’s team built structures on a walkway for the Maungaturoto Country Club. The Country Club is the town's recreational, social and cultural centre. The walkway is 1.4km long. It goes across rolling land, alongside an estuary and through a small block of reasonably mature native bush. The team was required to build a 7 metre long boardwalk where the walkway crosses a stream, and build four "kissing gates" where the walkway intersects fence lines.
