The team at Ruawai College undertook a project for the school’s caretaker. This project involved designing and building a new 35 metre fence, one double gate, one single gate, one large pergola and one reinforced concrete slab. The fence design included capping along the top so that the palings would not warp. The project needed to be planned carefully to finish on time. Because of this the team spent a lot of time working out the materials order, and specified time for each task.
