Tokomairiro High School

The team at Tokomairiro High School built a playhouse for the Milton Play centre. The team talked to the teacher and parents at the playcentre and asked what their wish list was for the children’s play area. Top of the list was a playhouse, somewhere the children could play all year round. The brief for the playhouse was for it to be open so the children could be seen, no large doors that would close and get little fingers, windows to look out, raised floor, have a culture aspect to it. It also had to fit on an existing concrete pad.
