What you'll learn

You will gain the skills required in the concrete production area of the construction industry.

The Fundamentals section of this qualification is compulsory and covers:

  • plant and equipment
  • legislation and standards
  • job documentation and workplace procedures
  • planning and communication

You must choose at least one of the following strands:

  • batching
  • dispatching
  • testing

There is a further optional strand that may only be completed concurrently with, or upon completion of, the Testing strand:

  • tensile testing
